- 1 lb butter
- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar (sifted)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cup pecans, chopped
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- additional powdered sugar for coating
Beat butter and sugar until fluffy; add nuts and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture. Mix thoroughly and chill. Form into balls or crescents and place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheets; bake in 350° oven for 15 minutes. While still warm, shake in bag of powdered sugar.
