  • 3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 3-4 cups pecans
  • 1/3 cup water

Caramelize 1 cup sugar. Cook in separate pan 2 cup sugar, the condensed milk and water. Pour caramelized sugar into this mixture; cook to soft-ball stage.

Take from pan and beat, adding butter, pecans and vanilla.

Drop by teaspoonful on waxed paper.
