  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp white corn syrup
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 cups pecans
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Bring sugar and syrup to a boil, stirring constantly. Add 1/2 butter and cook until soft-ball stage in cold water, then add other half of butter. Add vanilla and nuts, continuing to beat. Pour while still hot.
