7-UP Congealed Salad

  • 2 pkg lime Jello®
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 bottle 7-UP®
  • 2 cup sliced bananas
  • 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained

Dissolve Jello® in water and add 7-UP®. Chill. Add all other ingredients and chill.

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1/3 cup grated cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 pint whipped cream

Mix sugar, butter and flour — add egg and beat. Add cup pineapple juice and cock until thick. Cool. Fold in whipped cream and spread on top of Jello®. Sprinkle with cheese. Chill.
