Chicken Octavia

Nita Odom

Cut up chicken, place on bread board and season on both sides with celery salt, garlic salt, salt and pepper, and Accent. Be generous with seasonings. Pat chicken pieces with flour and sprinkle with paprika. Lay pieces, skin side down, in a shallow roasting pan. Dot with butter, brown in preheated 450° oven until brown for 20 minutes. Turn chicken, add 1 cup boiling water, turn oven down to 350°, continue cooking until all is done and brown. Add more butter and hot water to insure good gravy.

Good with potatoes. Can be made in morning and reheated for dinner.
