Spoon Bread

  • 3/4 cup corn meal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp melted fat

Cook corn meal in milk until thick. Add salt, fat and beaten egg yolks. Cook, and then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and place in greased casserole.

Bake 1 hour at 350°.
