Chocolate Chip Cake

  • 1 box Swiss chocolate Duncan Hines cake mix
  • 1 small package instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 (12 oz) package milk chocolate chips (Hershey)

Beat all together except for chips. Stir them in last. Bake in three layers at 325° for 45 to 55 minutes. (Check cake before 45 minutes).

Icing:

  • 1 cup Pet milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 large can coconut

Mix milk, sugar, and eggs. Cook until thickens (will not be real thick). Then add vanilla, pecans, and coconut. If you wish to ice on the sides of cake, double all ingredients except coconut.
