Sour Cream Coffee Cake

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 package dates
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup pecans
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs, sour cream, flour, baking powder, vanilla and dates. Pour into greased cake pan (use flat pan). Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup pecans and cinnamon on top.

Bake 350° until lightly browned.
