Peanut Brittle

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup white Karo syrup
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups raw peanuts
  • 2 tsp soda

Put all ingredients in saucepan and cook on high heat to hard crack stage. Add soda, stirring well and pour onto waxed paper or greased platter.

Break into pieces when cool.
