- 2 1/2 quart popped corn
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pour popped corn into large buttered bowl. Combine sugar, corn syrup, slat and water and vinegar in 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Cover, bring to a boil, boil briskly for 3 minutes. Uncover and cook to hard ball stage when dropped in water.
Remove from stove, stir in vanilla. Pour slowly over popped corn, mix with large buttered spoon. Form into balls.
