- 4 cup sugar
- 2 cup watermelon liquid
- 2 Tbsp Karo syrup
- 1/4 stick butter
Blend watermelon in blender until 2 cups of liquid is obtained. Mix all ingredients and cook to 232° or soft ball stage, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add:
- 1 dozen bite-size marshmallows
- 2 drops lemon extract
- Red food coloring as desired
Beat with electric beater. At the first sign that the candy is starting to lose its gloss, pour it up immediately.
