Golden Punch

Juel Downs

  • 1 package orange Jello®
  • 1 (No. 3) can pineapple juice
  • 1 can apricot nectar or equal amounts of peach juice or juice drained from fruit cocktail
  • 1 large package lemonade mix
  • 1 small frozen lemon concentrate

Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water and mix with remaining ingredients. Add water to make 1 gallon. Chill and serve with 1 bottle of chilled ginger ale.

Serves 32 to 35 punch cup size servings.

Suggest a ring of this punch be frozen ahead to be used in punch bowl. This will prevent diluting of punch. This punch color may be varied by changing color of jello. A corresponding package of Kool-Aid will add flavor and color.

This punch will be tart and a cup of sugar may be added if desired but it goes well with sweets as given.
