Fried Corn

  • Fresh sweet corn on cob
  • Oil
  • Salt

Shuck corn (or use frozen corn) remove silks. Be careful not to get corn dirty. If you do, wash and dry completely. Heat oil in deep fryer; put 2 ears at a time in hot oil. Fry until corn changes color and begins to brown lightly, 2 or 3 minutes. Drain. Sprinkle with salt. Excellent with fried fish. Fry in fish cooker, same procedure.
