Corn Burger Pie

  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (1 1/2 oz) package spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 (16 oz) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz) package corn bread mix
  • Salt (optional)

Combine meat and onion in a large skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until meat is browned and tender. Drain well.

Prepare spaghetti sauce mix according to package directions; add spaghetti sauce and green beans to meat mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring well; remove from heat and pour into a 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish.

Prepare corn corn bread according to directions. Pour over meat mixture.

Bake at 425° for 25 minutes.

Serves 6.
