- 1 fryer, boiled and cut up
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 can English peas, drained
- 1 onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 cup rice
- 6 cup broth
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 6 cup broth
- 2 tsp. turmeric
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 lb link sausage, browned (optional)
Sauté onion, pepper, garlic, and sausage in butter. Remove; add other ingredients together in large bowl. Soak overnight in icebox. Place in casserole dish.
Cook at 350° for 30-35 minutes.
