Pine Bark Stew

Aluoriva Ford, Lillie School

  • 3 qt rich chicken broth
  • 6 oz celery
  • 6 oz onion
  • 6 oz green pepper
  • 10 oz Irish potatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 3 tsp white pepper
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 4 oz oleo
  • 3 oz flour
  • 8 oz shrimp
  • 8 oz oysters
  • 8 oz crabs
  • 12 oz fish
  • 3 cup sherry wine

Dice vegetables into pot and simmer in the chicken stock until done. To thicken, melt oleo and add flour and simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add sherry.

Serve with crackers or bread.
