Amy’s Louisiana Kitchen
- 3 sticks Butter, softened, unsalted
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 4 cup all-purpose Flour (sifted)
- Red Plum Jam or any jam or jelly of your choice
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs yolks and vanilla and mix. On low add 1 cup of flour at a time mixing between each. Roll into balls of about 2 tablespoons of dough. Press your thumb into the middle to make an indention. Fill the prints in the cookies with jam or jelly of any kind. I used Red Plum Jam.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Makes about 40 cookies.
