Lasagna

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 3/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 1/2 cans tomatoes
  • 16 oz can tomato paste
  • 16 oz can tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup ripe black olives
  • 8 oz package lasagna
  • 1/2 lb Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Brown meat in hot oil. Add onions and garlic. Cook until onions are transparent. Add rest on ingredients. Cover and simmer until sauce is thick. Don’t add olives until rest of sauce is done. Cook lasagna in salted hot water. Slice Mozzarella cheese. Layer it. First lasagna, sauce, Mozzarella cheese, then Parmesan cheese. Start over until all sauce in gone.

Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
