Ruth Glover’s Raisin Pie

  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup raisins (white)
  • 1/2 nuts, chopped fine

Cream sugar and butter. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and milk. Add raisins and nuts. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for 15 minutes at 400°; reduce heat to 350°.

Cook for 45 minutes.
