Sweet Potato Pie

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
  • 3 eggs, beaten lightly
  • 1/2 cup white Karo®
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Spice to suit taste

Cream butter and sugar. Add other ingredients. Put into pie shell. Bake until firm in the middle in 300° oven.
