Laveina Bearden, F.M.S.
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 heaping Tbsp self-rising flour
- 4 Tbsp cocoa
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3 cup milk
Mix all ingredients and stir over fire until thick. Add 3 or 4 egg yolks, well beaten. Mix well and pour into unbaked pie shell. Cook in 350° oven until crust is brown. Beat egg whites and add 3 tablespoons sugar. Put on pie and brown to a golden brown.
