Cafeteria Rolls

Ann Dodd, F.H.S.

  • 2 1/2 Tbsp yeast
  • 7/8 water

Combine.

  • 7 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 plus 1 Tbsp dry milk
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 3/4 cup plus 1 Tbsp shortening
  • 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp water
  • Butter

Blend dry ingredients. Add melted shortening. Add yeast water. Gradually add last water slowly and beat well.

Bake 400° oven until done.
