- 2 cup meal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped jalapeno pepper
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 water
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Mix dry ingredients. Blend in remaining ingredients. Drop with spoon in hot oil .
Fry at 375°.
