Cake:
- 2 cup flour
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup oleo
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3 Tbsp cocoa
- 1 cup Coca-Cola®
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs beaten
Sift flour and sugar together. Add marshmallows and mix. Bring to a boil the cocoa, oleo, Coke®, and shortening. Pour over the dry mixture and stir until marshmallows are pretty well melted. Add buttermilk, soda and eggs; mix- don’t beat. Pour in greased pan (12x9x2) inches and bake at 350° for 35 – 40 minutes.
Icing:
- 1/2 cup oleo
- 6 Tbsp Coke
- 1 cup nuts
- 3 Tbsp cocoa
- 1 box powdered sugar
Bring oleo, cocoa and Coke to a boil. Remove from from heat and add sugar. Beat until smooth. Add nuts.
Spread on cake.
