Banana Nut Cake

  • 3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp banana flavoring
  • 6 bananas
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs (whole)
  • 3 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup pecans

Mix flour, sugar, salt, soda, and shortening together. Add eggs, buttermilk and flavoring. Mash bananas real well. Mix in with other ingredients. Add pecans.

Bake in 350° oven until done, or springs back.
