Easy White Cake

  • 2 cup plain flour
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup sweet milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 egg whites

Mix flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Add shortening. Cream well. Mix in milk. Add vanilla flavoring. Add unbeaten egg whites.

Beat 2 minutes.

Bake in 2 layer pans at 350° for 25 – 30 minutes.
