- 2 sticks pure butter
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1 tsp rum flavoring
- 1 tsp coconut flavoring
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 3 cup sugar
- 3 car cake flour
- 1 cup milk
Cream butter, Crisco, eggs, and sugar. Add baking powder to flour. Add milk and flour, alternating, and adding flour last. Add flavoring. Beat thoroughly. Bake at 350° about 30 minutes, then 325° for 25 minutes. Do not open door for first 15 minutes. Do not substitute ingredients. Will pull away from pan when done.
