- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped (1 1/2 cup)
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and milk. Beat well. Stir together flour and next five ingredients; stir into creamed mixture. Stir in apples, raisins and nuts.
Drop from tablespoon on well greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° for 12 to 14 minutes.
Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
