- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tap salt
- 2 (4 oz) package sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnut
Thoroughly cream together butter and sugars. Add egg, water, and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, soda, and salt. Blend into creamed mixture. By hand, stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° about at 15 minutes. Cool. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
This makes a nice soft Chocolate Chip Cookie
