Coconut Macaroons

  • 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cans (3 1/2 oz) flaked coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

Preheat oven to 300°. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. Combine milk with remaining ingredients, stirring gently until mixed well. Drop by teaspoons 1 inch apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake about 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Candied cherries may be placed in center of each before baking.
