Cream Cheese Roll

  • 2 1/2 cup Bisquck®
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1/2 warm water (110°)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam

Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, egg and Bisquick®. Mix well. Turnonto floured board. Knead gently 20 times. Roll out on greased cookie sheet. Mix cream cheese. !/2 cup sugar and lemon juice. Spread down center third. Make slices down side one inch apart. Crisscross. Cover with cloth.

Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Top with jelly and bake 5 minutes more. Cool a few minutes before cutting.
