Robbie’s Onion Rings

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • Beer (Budweiser® is best; enough to make batter about like pancake batter)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 large onions, sliced and separated into rings

Mix first 4 ingredients to make batter. Dip onion rings in batter; drop in hot oil and deep-fry until golden brown. Remove with Cook’s fork; drain and dive in! Delicious!! These brown so fast that it takes two people to batter and fry. Work rapidly!
