Cowboy Stew

  • 1 Tbsp oleo
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1 (No. 303) can tomatoes
  • 1 (16 oz) can yellow whole kernel corn
  • 6 small potatoes, peeled and cut
  • 3 cup water
  • 1 (32 oz) can Ranch Style® beans
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Melt oleo in large cooker with lid. Add eat and cook till grey. Add onions, celery, green pepper and sauté until done. Add seasoning, then tomatoes, corn and beans. Add potatoes and water. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Turn down heat and cover. Simmer until potatoes are done, about 45 minutes.
