Meat Loaf – From Deer Hamburger

  • 2 lb ground deer meat
  • 1/4 lb sausage
  • 1/2 cups crackers meal (about 10 crackers)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup catsup

Mix all ingredients well. Place in a loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Glaze with a mixture of 1/2 cup catsup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard and 2 tablespoons steak sauce. Return to 350° oven for 10 minutes.
