Three Grain Honey Corn Bread

  • 1/2 cup corn meal
  • 1/2 cup unsifted whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 wheat germ
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 1/8 cup buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup safflower oil
  • 1/3 cup honey

Oil pan and set aside. Combine dry ingredients; set aside. Mix buttermilk, eggs, safflower oil and honey. Mix just to blend. Pour in prepared pan.

Bake in preheated 325° oven until cake tester inserted into center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.

Store leftovers in refrigerator.
