Fruit Cake

  • 1 lb butter, creamed
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1 cup dark molasses
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1 gallon pecans
  • 1 qt other nuts
  • 2 large package dates
  • 1 large box mincemeat
  • 1 lb candied pineapple
  • 1 lb candied cherries

Mix in order given. Bake 30 minutes at 250° then 275° till done.
