Chocolate Pound Cake

  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs (one at a time)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp soda in milk
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 (6 oz) package chocolate chips melted in 2 Tbsp butter

Combine in order given.

Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
