Chocolate Sheet Cake

Cake:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 3 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 large bag miniature marshmallows

Mix flour and sugar in a bowl. Heat oleo, cocoa, water and shortening in a saucepan until it reaches boiling point. Pour hot mixture over dry ingredients. Add the rest of ingredients except nuts and mix well. Pour mixture in 2 sheet pans. Sprinkle nuts on top before cooking.

Cook at 400°.

Remove from oven when done and sprinkle with marshmallows.

Icing:

  • 1stick oleo
  • 3 Tbsp cocoa
  • 6 Tbsp milk
  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Heat oleo, cocoa and milk in pan until it boil. Add sugar and vanilla. When mixed well, pour on cake while still hot.
