PICKLED ONIONS

  • 1 cup HOT WATER
  • 1/2 cup APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoon (36g) SUGAR
  • 1 teaspoon (6g) SALT 1 RED ONION, thinly sliced
  • 1 JALAPENO, sliced (optional)

Whisk hot water, salt, sugar and vinegar together in a bowl. Place onion and jalapenos in a jar. Pour the mixture over to cover them. Top with a lid and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Better if overnight.
