Scriptural Cake

  • 3 cup sugar (Rev. 10:9-10)
  • 1 lb butter (Prov. 30:33)
  • 6 eggs (Job 6:6)
  • 3/4 cup milk (1 Peter 2:2)
  • 4 cup flour (Exodus 29:2)
  • 1 tsp salt (Matt. 5:13)
  • 1 1/2 tsp flavor (Solomon 4:14)

Measure all ingredients. In mixing bowl, mix or cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat and add one egg at a time. Add milk. Mix in dry ingredients. Add flavor. Pour into greased tube pan.

Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Take out oven. Cool on rack.
