- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 4 Tbsp cocoa
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3 cup sweet milk or 1 tall Pet milk
Mix all ingredients and stir over fire until thick. Add 3 or 4 egg yolks, well beaten. Mix well and pour into 9 inch baked pie crust.
Beat 3 or 4 egg whites till foamy. Add 3 tablespoons sugar, adding one at a time and beating until mixture stands in peaks . Spread on pie filling and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
