Pecan Pie

Bernadette Jenkins, Downsville

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecan pieces
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt

In medium bowl, beat eggs. Stir in brown sugar, pecans, corn syrup, vinegar, vanilla and salt. Mix well .

Pour into unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 40 to 45 minutes longer.

Cool.

If desired. garnish with whipped cream.
