Apple Crumb Pie

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 6 to 8 tart apples, pared and sliced (6 cup)
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter

Combine first 3 ingredients; stir into apples. Turn into pastry shell. Combine remaining flour and sugar. Cut in butter till crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.

Bake at 400° for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
