Butter Coconut Pie

  • 2 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 to 2 cup flour
  • Dash of salt
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cup water
  • 2 cup coconut

Beat together first 5 ingredients. Stir in water and coconut. Bake in chilled uncooked pie crust at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.

Makes 2 pies.
