- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (lemon)
- Dash of nutmeg
- 1 1/2 to 2 cup flour
- 3 rounded Tbsp flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
Have butter soft; add sugar. Cream together well. Add eggs; beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°. Place on wire rack and cool completely before serving.
