- 3 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup white corn syrup
- 1 quart shelled raw peanuts, slightly roasted
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
Mix ingredients in heavy saucepan. Cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat and beat until creamy. Pour into buttered cookie sheet or muffin pan.
Makes 24 patties in muffin pan.
