Hot Fudge Pudding

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar, dvided
  • 4 Tbsp cocoa, divided
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cup hot water
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Pour batter into a 9 inch square baking pan. Combine 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa and salt; mix well. Sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

Serve warm.

This dish is pudding and cake together.
