Chocolate Cream Torte

  • 1 package Duncan Hines® devils food deluxe cake mix
  • 1 pint (2 cup) whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup finely chipped nuts

Using 8 or 9 inch round layer cake pans, make and cook cake as directed on the label. Whip cream until thick (do not overbeat). Add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Split each layer two thin layers. Just before serving, spread whipped cream mixture between layers and on sides and top of cake.

Store cake in refrigerator.
