Sweet Potato Biscuits

Farmerville First Baptist Church Sesquicentennial Cookbook 1847-1997

  • 3 cups flour
  • 6 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 4 Tbsp shortening
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sweet potatoes, mashed
  • 1 cup milk

Stir together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add potatoes and milk. Mix until soft dough. Roll as other biscuits and bake in hot 370 degree oven.
