Farmerville First Baptist Church Sesquicentennial Cookbook 1847-1997
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup plus 1 Tbsp buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 ripe bananas
Grease 9×5 inch loaf pan. Combine flour, sugar, salt and soda. Stir in buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Fold in mashed banana. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Remove from pan when cool.
